Kudos to Robin Christensen for researching the early fairy tales we thought we knew so well and re-writing them with an adult twist.
This orginal group of poems was a delight to read and makes me want to watch for what's coming next from this exciting and talented writer.
Just when you think you've seen and heard everything there is about the most beloved and wicked fairy tale characters, someone tells their stories with a totally unique slant. Tales of Old Once More Told, written in a poetry format, challenges our imaginations one more time with a fresh perspective on a commonplace theme. Definitely check this one out!
I love poetry and fairy tales. This is a wonderful combination of both. Way to go Robin Christensen, you did a great job. I recommend everyone buy this book it is a nice addition to any personal and public library.
